American Express bill... anything but a skinny mirror

Hello my fellow fatties or fatty enthusiasts!

Yesterday afternoon I decided to start a blog about my wonderful lethargic lifestyle after being wished "have a fattening life". Now just to give you a brief picture of myself I actually wrote an entry yesterday but forgot to publish it because I consumed several bottles of wine with my gay bestie. By no means do I have a drinking problem I just love my wine. Anyway, I thought to "have a fattening life"... HOW GLORIOUS!  Immediately, I began to think about my behaviors including: establishing a comfort rule, going to a bar in sweat pants and most importantly.... ordering two drinks at mcdonalds so the people who work their don't judge the amount of food i purchased.

I am just your run of the mill gay Manhattanite male with a little cushion for the pushin. Currently working as a fundraiser and having little time to cook, I have come to appreciate the beauty and the absolute bliss of a delicious meal and a glass of wine. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm for over-indulgence has its costs. Yesterday at work I was going over all my bills (dont pretend that your don't) and I took a gander at my American Express as I read through my latest purchases, I started to notice a trend. This month alone I've spent over $400 on wine and gin ALONE! It's totally okay though because I like to share so the number is a little skewed.

As I stared at my statement I felt a sense of shameful pride seeing 02/19 Reserve Wine Bar, 02/18 Delicious Italian Restaurant with wine, 02/18 shady bar in the village, 02/16 arte bar etc. Many people would learn from this and consider cutting back. NOT ME!! I left work with my head held high with a big smile on face and head up to the Upper East Side for GLEE night with 3 bottle of wine in hand.
